BUNKER BLUEPRINTS The Diefenbunker was constructed in the late 1950s as a safety measure in the case of nuclear war. The bunker consists of four subterranean floors containing all the necessary facilities and life support systems to house representatives of government, military and civilian institutions for 30 days.
