Morrin / Vox Tours
The Morrin Center received a government grant to create self guided walking tours highlighting the english history of Quebec City. The tours where are delivered as downloadable audio mp3 files with printable maps. Tourists can purchase the different routes and take a self guided tour by following directions on the maps and audio files.
For this project I needed record several narrations in both english and french, we had some narrators from the Morrin Center and some where professionals from CBC radio. Over several days we set up a small recording studio in the Morrin Center and recorded the narrations. Later on I took the recordings back to my studio in Montreal where I added different background music and sound fx. The different tours where available for purchase so I implemented a paypal button that allowed visitors to purchase the packages but removed all risk from the Morrin Center for the possible downfalls on managing online payments.
